Not content with having recently snatched the place of the second-largest seller of smartphones to Apple, Xiaomi launches a slew of products for the least heterogeneous, although all stamped AIoT
Mi Router AX9000
Equipped with a 6-core Qualcomm Cortex-A53 SoC (4 CPU cores and two NPU cores) and 1 GB of RAM, the Mi Router AX9000
With 12 amplified external antennas and an AioT antenna, this router offers five Ethernet ports (one 2.5G WAN/LAN port, one 1G WAN/LAN port, three G LAN ports) well as a USB 3.0 port.
The price is 299.99 euros on Xiaomi’s website.
Mi 2K Gaming Monitor
This 27-inch display achieves a definition of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels (QHD) and a refresh rate of 165 Hz for a grey-to-grey response time of 4 ms. Certified VESA Display 400, its IPS panel covers 95% of the DCI-P3 and 100% of the sRGB. Connectivity includes a pair of HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4 and USB 3.0 ports.
The price and release date in Kenya of the Mi 2K Gaming Monitor remain unknown for the moment.
Mi Electric Scooter 3
To digest well, you can make a little getaway at the wheel of the electric scooter Mi Electric Scooter 3. This car, which weighs 13 kg and measures 1,080 x 430 x 1,140 mm once unfolded, has an announced range of 30 km. The maximum power of the craft is 600 W, and its top speed is 25 km/h. Designed to “easily slide on slopes or bumps when travelling in the city”, this scooter can climb hills by 16%. Xiaomi has equipped it with safety features such as the E-ABS regenerative anti-lock braking system and a new dual-pad rear disc brake.
For the moment, the company has not formalized the tariff (which would be around 450 euros) or the date of marketing in Kenya; it would be for the start of the school year.
Redmi Buds 3 Pro
Fifth and last product, here are the Redmi Buds 3 Pro, in-ear headphones. They support Bluetooth 5.2 and offer active noise reduction up to 35 dB. These Redmi Buds 3 Pro offer up to six hours of use via the headphones and up to 28 hours of total playback when loaded into the case (active reduction disabled, volume at 50%).
The headphones charge 100% in one hour and the case in 2 hours 30 wired (wireless charging by induction is also part of the game). The battery of the headphones displays capacity and power of 35 mAh / 0.13 Wh; that of the case of 470 mAh / 1.78 Wh.
Finally, the dimensions of an earpiece are 25.4 x 20.3 x 21.3 mm for a weight of about 4.9 grams. The charging case measures 65 x 48 x 26 mm and weighs approximately 55 grams. Xiaomi offers them in black or white colours.
